Full support for Gmail 2 and new menu items
Mailplane now supports both Gmail 1.0 and Gmail 2.0. If there is a "Older version" link in the upper right part of your main window, you are working with Gmail 2.0. You can switch to the older Gmail 1.0 interface by pressing this link or go by to Gmail 2.0 by clicking "Newer version". If there isn't such a link, your account hasn't been upgraded to Gmail 2.0, yet.
If you like to stay with the old Gmail 1.0 user interface, you can disable the Use Gmail 2.0 when available setting in advanced preferences.
Important: Existing user style sheets (CSS) are not supported by Gmail 2.0!
New Gmail 2.0 features supported by Mailplane:
- Use Google Talk in the sidebar of your inbox
- New Mail->Mute menu item
- New Mail->Update Conversation menu item
- New Mail->Mark as Read menu item
- New Mail->Mark as Unread menu item
